DigitalSkys: Organization Chart

DigitalSkys Limited was established in February 2005, with the objective of becoming a leading 'last-mile' (direct to customer) wireless solutions provider for internet protocol based applications.

DigitalSkys Limited is a British Virgin Islands incorporated holding company and through registration with the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) and its Initial Public Offering (IPO), scheduled for the first half of 2007, will pave the way for the commencement of public share trading.

DigitalSkys Limited currently operates through its wholly owned subsidiary company, DigitalSkys FZ LLC (Free Zone, Limited Liability Company) in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, where its business targets primarily the Middle East, Africa and Asia.

Significant Group milestones achieved to date are as follows:

December 2006:

  • Secured the renewal contract for the US military service orders for Camp Sayliyah, Qatar.
  • Signed the GSM Reseller and Service Provider agreement paving the way for commercial GSM services.

November 2006:

  • Attendee at the GITEX exhibition, Dubai, exhibiting GSM over IP over Satellite; Satellite on the Move; IPTV; Secure Communications; and Wireless Telephony.
  • Completed the Four Seasons hotel, Doha wireless infrastructure implementation in time for the Doha, Asian games.

September 2006:

  • Secured the purchase and service order to install a wireless network infrastructure for the Four Season hotel in Doha, Qatar.
  • Signed a Reseller Agreement for the sale of IPTV equipment.

August 2006:

  • Opened new offices and state of the art Network Operations Centre in Dubai Internet City.
  • Signed Memorandum of Understanding to form a Joint Venture Agreement for the licencing and delivery of Wi-Fi, WIMAX and VSAT services across the northern region of Iraq.

July 2006:

  • Appointed H.H. Prince Bander Bin Abdullah Bin Mohammed Al- Saud to the position of Non-Executive Chairman with immediate effect.
  • Signed the Heads of Agreement and channel partner agreement with Wissat Holdings, who holds the third VSAT and wireless communications licence for the Kingdom of Morocco.
  • Completed the Ministry of Communications and Ministry of Defence VSAT and Voice over IP purchase and service orders in Afghanistan.

June 2006:

  • Signed the satellite services agreement with New Skies for the use of space segment on their NSS-703 satellite, together with a further extension of services contract with CYTA.
  • Quarterly sales revenue reached US$1.0 million.

April 2006:

  • Signed the ISP Accreditation for provision of services with General Electric on a preferred world wide supplier basis.
  • Signed Memorandum of Understanding with the Nigerian Space Research and Development Agency for planning, development and marketing of their new satellite.

March 2006:

  • Attendee at the CabSat exhibition, Dubai.
  • Launched the 4th generation Wi-Fi services.
  • Successfully demonstrated first GSM over IP over Satellite services.
  • Quarterly sales revenue reached US$1.2 million.

January 2006:

  • Secured the Network Innovations Canadian Military purchase and service orders in Afghanistan.
  • Launched C-Band services over Africa on AMC-12.

November 2005:

  • Signed a satellite space segment agreement with SES Americom for the AMC-12 satellite followed subsequently by an extension of the services contract with CYTA for this satellite.
  • Secured the DynCorp/WWNS purchase and service orders for Afghanistan military bases.
  • Attendee at the Dubai GITEX exhibition.
  • Secured the US military purchase and service orders for Camp Sayliyah, Qatar.

October 2005:

  • Established our Voice over IP global services.
  • Launched first marine services with yachts in the Mediterranean and the Gulf.
  • Secured and delivered corporate network services to National Air Cargo, covering Iraq and Afghanistan.

August 2005:

  • Secured the Kawanzanet Service Contract in Angola.
  • Secured the Kwanzanet purchase and service orders for Angola.
  • Deployed the first rapid deploy mobile vehicle antenna for the Oil & Gas sector, KSA.

July 2005:

  • Commencement of operations and generation of revenue.

June 2005:

  • Installed iDirect satellite hub.

May 2005:

  • Signed long term umbrella services contract with the Cyprus Telecommunications Authority (CYTA), with individual service contracts for NSS-6 and NSS-7 satellites, together with our fibre backbone connection to the internet.
  • Signed satellite capacity agreement with the Kuwait Messaging Services Company KSCC for space segment.
