Group Core Values
The holding company recognises that while we conduct our business within applicable frameworks, principles, policies, standards, laws and regulations, it also acknowledges that these frameworks, principles, policies, standards, laws and regulations do not govern all types of behaviour.
As a result, the group has a Code of Conduct to guide the group's personnel. This Code is based on the group's core values, which allows employees to take the Code to the next level, in the demonstration of our core values in action.
All employees have an obligation to know and understand, not only the guidelines contained in the Code but also the core values on which they are based. Knowing and understanding are not enough. We also have an obligation to comply with the letter and spirit of this Code and to help others do the same.
While the Code provides a broad range of guidance about the standards of integrity and business conduct, no code can address every situation that individuals are likely to encounter. As a result, this Code is not a substitute for our responsibility and accountability to exercise good judgment and obtain guidance on proper business conduct.
We are a SPIRITED group and in striving to achieve our objectives, recognise that living and demonstrating our core values will assist us in succeeding, both as individuals and as a business.

These principles support and guide our leadership and we expect our people and business partners to conduct their business in accordance with these principles. We must do more than be compliant with laws, regulations and policies. We must work according to our principles and endeavor to conduct ourselves in a manner beyond reproach. Our reputation is based on the personal integrity and ethics of each of our employees and those with whom we do business. Sound judgment must be exercised in the service of our reputation as a business leader, employer of choice and good corporate citizen.
