Dubai, UAE. DigitalSkys, providers of the next generation in global telecommunications and specialists in reliable ‘last-mile’ wireless solutions have appointed HH Prince Bander Bin Abdullah Bin Mohammed Al-Saud to the position of Non-Executive Chairman with immediate effect.

HH Prince Bander Bin Abdullah Bin Mohammed Al-Saud, President and CEO of Soroof International, completed his bachelor’s degree in aeronautical science in 1972, before enjoying a successful and highly decorated career within the Royal Saudi Air Force.

In 1993 he completed his master’s degree in National Security from the National Defense University in Washington DC and in 1994 went on to obtain an MPA from George Washington University.

Commenting on his appointment, HH Prince Bander Bin Abdullah expressed his strong commitment to the new role:

The appointment comes as DigitalSkys seek to take commercial advantage of their successful deployment of the latest generation of two-way, high speed satellite based platforms, by reaching new customers across diverse territories and business sectors.
